@Taramilktea
This weekend I looked up a lot of bloggers to see what blogger seemed best fit for looking at how they gain followers and build on their platform while staying true to their passions and personality.
Before I had looked at Chriselle Lim, a fashion blogger, mom, and entrepreneur, whose main focus was to blog about current styles and ways to wear clothes while being sponsored by brands and labels while showing off a life that allows her to attend parties that show off an extravagant lifestyle.
This week I wanted to look at someone who rose to Instagram fame through a different route: food
In current trends food is an up and coming hot-item. The picture itself does not have to feature an interesting point or even be photographed or shot well, but everyone will like the photo as it shows something that they cannot consume in the moment. So, for my second blogger I chose:
@TARAMILKTEA
She's a young traveler and blogger that mainly focuses on the foods of each area she travels.
At the age of 23 she is a student, traveler, and blogger. Living what many college students would deem as "living the life".

On Instagram Tara boasts 845,000 followers, while only following 215. She tends to post a lot of photos of food while providing short excerpts of her life, so her readers would feel more of a friend rather than a consumer. While being known for her magnificent spreads of food and scenery. Her food photos gain an average of 50,000 likes. Known for the variety of foods as well as the vibrancy of each photo and has a large following to the point of certain accounts treating her like a celebrity and reposting her posts and keeping count of how many likes they have gained from Tara herself.
I tried to take inspiration from her bird's-eye-view of a table spread. As you can see she does hashtag, but it is also to show that this post was in collaboration with another business, and in this case would be the restaurant "The Grounds". I had just tagged something that explained the picture by saying my families' food consuming method. Also as Tara travels many places, she tags the place that she had taken the photo and similarly, though I don't live in Death Valley, I had posted a picture of when I had traveled. I think the aspect of a different location appeals to the audience that I travel and like to go to different places. She also had indicated in other posts that she edited with an app 'VSCO' and photoshop's 'Lightroom'. So the photo I had posted had a filter applied by 'VSCO'.
Likes: I definitely did not reach the same amount that she did, but I do believe that the more I post and the more relevant I am, the more likes and followers I may gain. Although I have not gained much.
